Conditions for purchase and participation in scheduled trips.

By scheduled trips are meant all activities with scheduled departures published on our website.


The order is binding when you have received written confirmation from Explore Salten about payment received. Explore Salten is then responsible for delivering the products / events you have ordered, at the same time as you become financially responsible for the order. The moment you make a booking, you also confirm that you have the authority to accept on behalf of yourself and any travel companion. You accept responsibility for payment being made to us for all people in your entourage. You are responsible for ensuring the reservation is in accordance with the booking. You will be responsible for ensuring that everyone in your travel party is kept fully informed about what has been booked and about any changes.


You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before departure for the activity. The amount paid will be refunded in full. For cancellations less than 48 hours before departure, no refund can be expected.


Any complaints related to the delivery from Explore Salten must be reported in writing within 5 days after the event. Complaints submitted later than this deadline will not be given any form of financial compensation.

Description of execution

Explore Salten reserves the right to change tours and programs due to weather conditions. All programs and tours may be changed or canceled for security reasons. In the event of cancellation by us, the amount paid will be refunded in full.

Risk and responsibility

Participation in several of our trips involves a certain risk of accidents and injuries. By purchasing our services, you accept this risk.

Explore Salten does not assume any financial obligations as a result of damage caused by participants or their actions unless the accident is due to gross negligence on our part or the guide’s. Explore Salten cannot be held responsible for losses and additional costs due to delays beyond the company’s control such as strikes, accidents, illness or other conditions that fall under force majeure.


Explore Salten does not provide travel and cancellation insurance on our tours. Participants should therefore have adequate travel / liability insurance in relation to current activity. Explore Salten is not responsible for valuables brought by the customer, such as bags, glasses, camera / phone, clothes, etc.

Explore Salten is liability insured through our insurance agents.

The customer’s duty

The participants are responsible for assessing whether they are physically and mentally fit to participate in booked trips. The customer must comply with the rules of order and instructions given by the organizer.

Explore Salten reserves the right to refuse participation in a trip if the customer is a threat to safety, either for himself or the other participants, or if the customer acts in such a way that he / she is a great embarrassment to the other participants.

Participants in our tours confirm with their reservation that there are no medical reasons to doubt their participation in the described program. Instructions of personnel must be observed. In cases where this is not followed, our staff has permission to reject the participant from further participation in the trip. . In such cases, the participant will not be entitled to a refund.

In the event that a participant breaks his or her participation in a trip or program at his or her own request, he or she is not entitled to a refund.
